Course Description

Learn fullstack web development with JavaScript over the course of 8 weeks. JavaScript is a powerful programming language that fosters the development of interactive web sites. It is the de facto language of the web and should be learned by everyone that is into web development. However, not many people know how to write JavaScript properly.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced developer interested in learning more about JavaScriptand front-end technologies this is the perfect course for you.

About the Instructor

Jamal O’Garro is a former finance guy turned creative professional, turned hacker that loves entrepreneurship and NYC startup culture and has worked for several well funded NYC startups as Ruby, Python and JavaScript developer. He is a huge fan of full-stack web development withJavaScript and enjoys building with Angular, Node and Ruby on Rails.

He has taught at several web development schools in New York City including General Assembly and Startup Institute. For fun Jamal likes to write and backtest simple Bitcoin algorithmic trading strategies in Python, attend hackathons and continue teaching himself (and others) how to code. In his spare spare time (whenever that is) he likes to read, blog, shoot street photography and make documentary films.

Jamal currently works as a freelance Lead JavaScript Developer at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he uses cutting edge web technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS to build lightning fast single page web applications.
