Front End Web Development

What You'll Learn

  • Learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery to build sample projects throughout the course

  • Learn to use commonly used HTML to semantically markup web pages

  • Learn to use CSS to layout and design web pages

  • Learn basic JavaScript programming techniques to use jQuery effectively

  • Learn to use Git, GitHub, Sublime Text 2/3 to follow a typical development workflow

  • Learn Twitter Bootstrap and other frameworks that includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to quickly layout and design a web page

Logistics

This is a course that teaches Front End Development fundamentals. The fundamentals are often used in practice and help lead to learning more advanced concepts. The session will involve 10 sessions for 3 hours each. It’ll run for 5 weeks, every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm starting on April 21st to May 21st.
